The 1.8L 4 cylinder DOH engine is designed by Yamaha and produced by Toyota. The Lotus Elise engine develops 190HP @ 7800RPM.

The cars has a hand-finished fiberglass body shell .Because of the light weight (1984 Lbs) this car can accelerate from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds and has a torque of 138 lb ft.

Top speed is 150Mph, Fuel Consumption is 24 City/29 Highway.

The name of the model “Elise” comes from Lotus’ chairman Romano Artioli’s granddaughter, named “Elisa”.
